Boxing Betting Tips: Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury 2

Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury collide seven months on from their initial encounter in the quest to determine the best heavyweight on the planet.

Can the Ukrainian repeat his summer feat, or will Fury exact revenge in the run-up to Christmas?

Odds Now's Brad Walker provides a betting run-down of the rematch ahead of the opening bell in Riyadh.

Tale of the Tape

Riyadh's Kingdom Arena plays host to the anticipated rematch after Usyk handed Fury his first professional defeat back in May.

The Ukrainian scored a ninth-round knockdown before earning a split-decision victory to become the sport's first undisputed heavyweight champion in over two decades.

Attention immediately turned to a rematch, with the WBC, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles on the line.

Usyk was forced to vacate the IBF in the aftermath of their first meeting.

The fight will be available to watch live on DAZN PPV, Sky Sports Box Office and TNT Sports Box Office.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury predictions

The fact the odds are so evenly spread just a couple of days out from fight night speak to the quality of this match-up.

An argument can be made for any outcome here, even though the majority of people seem to be backing another Usyk victory.

It's easy to see why, given the quality on show from the Ukrainian first time around.

Usyk headed into the second half of the stanza slightly behind on most scorecards and appeared to have been rocked by a Fury right uppercut in the sixth round.

Yet, in typical Oleksandr Usyk fashion, he remained composed and, recognising the need to step up the pace in a way only the sport's elite can, set about turning the tide.

And he did exactly that, stealing headlines in the process after sending Fury stumbling and tumbling around the ring in a stunning ninth round.

It's this ability to adapt mid-fight which sets him apart from most and perhaps explains why few are willing to back Fury to level the score.

Ultimately, while Usyk has faced his fair share of problems throughout his 22-fight career, he has continued to find an answer to them time and again.

And while Fury more than played his part in the first fight - in fact, it's easy to forgot how much success he had during the first six rounds - it's hard to see what else he can throw Usyk's way in pursuit of overturning the result from seven months ago.

There's more than enough juice in backing Usyk to win outright at 9/10, though getting the Ukrainian to win again on the cards at 9/4 looks very appealing too.
