Arsenal vs Wolves Betting Tips | Premier League | Match Preview

It’s top versus bottom in the Premier League on Saturday as league leaders Arsenal host a beleaguered Wolves in the 8pm GMT match at the Emirates Stadium.

Odds Now football tipster Terry Foord gives his thoughts and betting angles on what could be a very one-sided encounter.

Arsenal vs Wolves betting preview – Saturday, December 13th 2025

Key Stats & Analysis

Arsenal returned to winning ways on Wednesday night with a comfortable 3–0 victory over Club Brugge, keeping them top of their Champions League group and the only side with a 100% record. Mikel Arteta’s team have conceded just one goal across the six matches played, scoring a remarkable seventeen in that period.

In the league, however, Arsenal have stumbled slightly. They have managed just two wins in their last five Premier League matches, which is not the level expected of them.

Their most recent defeat to Aston Villa has closed the gap, and they now sit only two points clear of second-placed Manchester City as we approach the Christmas period.

Wolves fell to another defeat last weekend, losing 4–1 to Manchester United at Molineux. There were moments where Wolves held their own — they were level at 1–1 at half-time — and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde provided a rare bright spark with his goal, Wolves’ eighth of the season. However, they collapsed in the second half and conceded three more.

Mason Mount carved Wolves open repeatedly with incisive through-balls, and Rob Edwards will have plenty to address going into this match. Wolves have conceded thirty-three goals already this season, twelve of those coming away from home.

With just one away goal scored all season, Wolves could be in serious trouble against one of the league’s strongest home teams.

Head-to-Head

As expected, Arsenal dominates the head-to-head record and have won the last eight meetings in a row — eight of the previous ten overall. One interesting trend, however, is that the last three meetings have all gone under 2.5 goals.

Arsenal have won to nil in six of those last eight victories over Wolves, and given Wolves' single away goal this season, paired with Arsenal’s defensive stability, a similar outcome looks highly likely.

Arsenal vs Wolves betting angles

This could get messy for Wolves. Arsenal have dominated this fixture for years, and everything points towards another comfortable home win — superior form, strong defensive numbers, and Wolves’ complete lack of threat away from home.

I like Arsenal to win to nil, even at 4/7. You would fancy that angle even without knowing the history. Wolves have scored just one away goal this season, and Arsenal have won six of their seven home matches, conceding only twice in that stretch.

I can see this finishing 2–0 or 3–0 at minimum — and it genuinely has the potential to become a cricket score if Arsenal find rhythm early. I’ll also take over 2.5 goals and both teams to score: No, which — with the greatest respect to Wolves — is effectively Arsenal to win to nil with goals on top.
