Atalanta vs Juventus: Betting Odds & Prediction

Atalanta meet Juventus in the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday evening.

Kick-off is set for 8pm UK time at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Atalanta have won the cup once previously, compared to Juventus' 14 triumphs in the competition.

Recent Form

Atalanta

Gian Piero Gasperini's men are no doubt the side in better form, having gone unbeaten in their last seven matches in all competitions. The run includes a 4-2 aggregate victory over Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia semi-finals last month.

Atalanta have been in fine scoring form of late, netting seven goals in their last three. Not only are they the third-highest scorers in Serie A, but Gasperini's side have also managed nine goals across their four outings in the Coppa Italia this term.

Averaging 2.25 per game, they've scored three or more goals in three cup matches, but have also been more susceptible at the back. Atalanta are yet to record a clean sheet in the competition, conceding four goals so far, though they've not conceded more than two goals in a single Coppa Italia match heading into the final.

Juventus

Massimiliano Allegri's side have not recorded a win in any of their last six matches in all competitions. Each of their last three have ended in draws, following on from a 2-1 loss at Lazio in the Coppa Italia second leg. The result was not enough to prevent Juventus prevailing with a 3-2 aggregate win, though, and the Old Lady look for a 15th Coppa Italia title in the capital on Wednesday night.

Like Atalanta, Juventus have had little trouble in finding the net in the competition. Averaging 3.25 goals a game, Allegri's men have also conceded just three times in cup matches so far. Two of their four games have also ended in a clean sheet.

Prediction

Juventus have impressed in both attacking and defensive quarters in the Coppa Italia, but their recent form has been mediocre at best. With five consecutive draws in Serie A, and a 2-1 loss at Lazio in the semi-final second leg, the Turin side have not recorded a win since the beginning of last month when they beat Fiorentina 1-0.

Atalanta's only recent blemish, meanwhile, is a 1-0 home loss to Liverpool in the Europa League, where they already held a 3-0 advantage due to their success in the first leg a week before. OddsNow therefore back Gasperini's men to continue a remarkable season with success in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday.
