Manchester United travel to Brighton needing a win if they are to play in Europe next season.

United could seal a place in next season's Europa League by winning the FA Cup at the end of the month, but face an uphill task in facing current holders Manchester City.

Three points at the Amex could see United move ahead of Newcastle into seventh, depending on their result at Brentford, and secure a place in next season's Europa Conference League if City do indeed lift the cup on May 25th.

Erik Ten Hag's side come into the match having claimed a 3-2 home win over Newcastle on Wednesday. The result saw them return to winning ways after consecutive defeats in the Premier League.

Their recent away form makes for a tough read, though; United have failed to win any of their last five on the road, and have conceded ten goals combined in their last three away outings. The latest saw them suffer a 4-0 drubbing at Crystal Palace.

United have also kept just four clean sheets in away fixtures this term.

Prediction

Brighton will be glad to see the end of the season after enduring a difficult second half of the campaign. Injuries haven't helped, but they face a Manchester United side who have been woeful on their travels in recent weeks.

The visitors are without an away clean sheet since December, and should be backed to suffer their 15th loss of the season here.
