Though Spurs are winless in their last three away games, they still boast the fifth-best away record in the division. Their 1.5 points averaged on the road still pales in comparison to the 2.12 averaged on home turf, though.

Like Chelsea, scoring goals haven't been a problem for Ange Postecoglou's men. They've averaged 1.94 on the road so far, failing to score in only four away matches. Eleven of their 16 away fixtures have seen them score at least twice.

However, also like their opponents on Thursday, Spurs have struggled at the back. An average of 1.75 conceded in away games has led to just four clean sheets so far.

Both sides have been riddled with inconsistency this term as they come to the end of their first season under new managers. While both have shown signs of progress, Chelsea's positive home record against sides in the top six makes them the sensible pick here.
