England vs Latvia: 11/1 treble for Wembley clash

England hope to continue their winning start to World Cup Qualifying when they host Latvia on Monday evening.

Our man Brad Walker (@brad_TWalker) has put up an 11/1 treble ahead of kick-off in the capital.

England vs Latvia bet-builder selections for Monday, March 24, 2025

Selection #1 - Harry Kane (England) to have over 2.5 shots on target

Kane has been in irresistible form once again this term, netting 32 goals in 37 appearances at club level.

His goal vs Albania means he's also scored in each of his last two games for England and he was certainly at the centre of things on Friday evening.

Kane recorded three shots on target across the 90 minutes, as well as another effort which fell wide of the mark.

There's plenty of value in backing him to do the same again versus a Latvia side who had kept only one clean sheet in five prior to their recent 1-0 win at Andorra.

Selection #2 - Roberts Savalnieks (Latvia) to be shown a card

The Latvian full-back has made a recent habit of being booked for his country.

Two of Savalnieks' last three games have seen him be shown a card.

He could also find himself coming up against England winger Anthony Gordon, whose direct approach has caused trouble for full-backs across the Premier League in recent times.

Adding in the threat posed by the Liverpudlian, alongside Savalnieks' recent poor disciplinary record, the latter stands out as one of the leading candidates to be shown a booking in this one.

Selection #3 - Over 3.5 goals

This England side have goals in abundance, having scored at least once in six of their last seven home matches.

Five of those have also seen them score two or more, including the 2-0 win over Albania on Friday.

In fact, Thomas Tuchel's men were unlucky not to add more to their tally, having recorded a grand total of six shots on targets under the Wembley Arch.

Add in Latvia's poor defensive record - they hadn't kept a single clean sheet in 11 away matches prior to the win at Andorra - and it's hard not to envisage a high-scoring encounter.
