Fulham vs Manchester City: Betting Odds & Prediction

Fulham host title-chasing Manchester City at Craven Cottage on Saturday lunchtime.

The away side trail leaders Arsenal by one point but still have a game in hand. Kick-off is set for 12:30pm UK time.

Recent Form

Fulham

The hosts' 0-0 draw at Brentford last time out was their tenth clean sheet in the league. Six of those have came at home, with Fulham boasting the tenth-best record on home turf in the Premier League. They have failed to record a win in their last three at Craven Cottage, though, and have conceded five goals during those matches.

Nevertheless, Marco Silva's men have failed to score just twice in their last 14 overall, and 31 goals scored at home leaves them with an impressive average of 1.72. They've failed to score in six of their home fixtures, though.

Conceding goals hasn't been a huge problem for Silva's side. An average of 1.11 shipped at home is a solid return, but they do tend to grant opportunities to visiting sides. Their average expected goals against (xGA) tally stands at 1.4 per home game ahead of a visit from the second highest-scoring side in the division.

Manchester City

Pep Guardiola's men haven't tasted defeat in the Premier League since a 1-0 away defeat to Aston Villa at the start of December. A 1-1 draw at Liverpool is the only time they've dropped points in their last five matches on the road. City have also netted 12 goals during that period.

Only Arsenal have scored more than the 87 goals scored by City home and away, and Guardiola's men have failed to find the net on just two occasions in away fixtures. Though slightly lower than their average at home, City have still scored 2.29 goals across 17 away outings so far.

Nine of these games have seen them score three or more goals. They will also be buoyed by a return to form for striker Erling Haaland, who boasts five goals in his last two outings, including four in his side's 5-1 home win over Wolves on Saturday.

Prediction

City rightly enter the match as firm favourites (1/4) as they continue to hunt a record fourth consecutive Premier League title. OddsNow back the away side to continue their title charge in another high-scoring encounter this weekend.
