Back this 15/2 Liverpool vs PSG bet-builder

Liverpool welcome PSG to Anfield for the second leg of their round of sixteen tie Champions League tie.

The Reds secured a slightly fortuitous 1-0 win in Paris last week, but can they hold on to secure a spot in the quarter-finals?

Our tipster Brad Walker (@brad_TWalker) has taken a closer look at the match-up and picked out a tasty 15/2 four-fold.

Liverpool vs PSG bet-builder selections for Tuesday, March 11, 2025

Selection #1 - Liverpool to win

It's fair to say Arne Slot's side were incredibly lucky to leave Paris with victory, but they are a different beast at Anfield.

Liverpool haven't lost a home match in any competition since a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest in September. They've also tasted defeat at the historic venue just once in their last 10 matches in the Champions League, eight of which ended in a home victory.

And while PSG have won their last three on the road in Europe, all of those games were against opposition significantly lower in quality. In fact, the two times they've stepped up in away fixtures this term have seen them lose both times (to Arsenal and Bayern Munich).

Selection #2 - Nuno Mendes over 1.5+ tackles

The Portuguese full-back was superb during the first leg.

Coming up against arguably the world's best player in Mohamed Salah, Mendes looked to have his hands full but the 22-year-old wasn't faized in the slightest.

In fact, he made a staggering eight tackles across the 90 minutes and was bitterly unlucky not to leave the Parc des Princes with a clean sheet.

Another face-off against Salah lies in wait on Tuesday but, based on everything we've seen from Mendes this season, he's more than capable of putting up a fight once again.

Selection #3 - Alexis Mac Allister to be shown a card

Only Benfica left-back Alvaro Carreras has picked up more than Mac Allister's four bookings in the Champions League.

They sit alongside the six he's also received in the Premier League.

Add in the fact he's averaged 2.1 tackles so far in Europe and has been cautioned in two of his last three appearances in the competition, backing him to receive another caution here is certainly justified.

Selection #4 - Khvicha Kvaratskhelia over 0.5+ shots on target

The Georgian winger was a shining light in a brilliant PSG performance in the first leg.

Kvaratskhelia would have emerged with at least one goal to his name if not for Alisson's own heroics in the Liverpool goal.

He recorded a whopping four shots on target in total, while another was blocked.

The Liverpool clean sheet doesn't tell the full story - they averaged a mere 0.27 xG compared to PSG's 1.78, which was largely down to Kvaratskhelia's attacking exploits.

With all this in mind, backing him to record a single shot on target this time around looks an incredibly safe bet.
