Back this 11/4 Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool double

Premier League leaders Liverpool make the difficult trip to a Nottingham Forest side who are flying on Tuesday evening.

Can the visitors cement their place as the outright favourites to lift the title, or will Forest continue their incredible assent?

Odds Now's Brad Walker (@brad_TWalker) takes a closer look at the fixture from a punting perspective.

Odds Now's Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool betting selections

Hosts Nottingham Forest come into this in superb form.

Nuno Espirito Santo's men have won their last seven matches in all competitions, including a 3-0 win at Wolves in their last league outing.

A 2-0 win over Luton Town in the FA Cup also made it five games without conceding a single goal.

The same cannot be said of Liverpool, who started the season with a watertight backline which has since dwindled in recent weeks.

Arne Slot's men have picked up just one clean sheet in their last six in the Premier League, and also suffered a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup last week.

That is only their second loss all season though, with the first coming in the reverse fixture, where Callum Hudson-Odoi secured an historic 1-0 victory for Forest at Anfield.

Selection #1 - Chris Wood to score or assist anytime

Only five players have scored more goals than the New Zealand forward this term.

Wood recently endured a three-match run without scoring, but has since returned to form with two goals and an assist in his last two league appearances.

Averaging a goal every 132 minutes, the 33-year-old could prove to be a thorn in the side of a Liverpool defence which has made habit of conceding goals in recent weeks.

Selection #2 - Over 10+ corners taken

Given Forest boast the joint-fourth best attacking set-piece record in the league, the hosts will surely be banking on more opportunities on Tuesday evening.

Their nine home fixtures have averaged 10.4 in total so far, a figure which could very well be exceeded here given the options both sides have in wide areas.

Indeed, 75% of Forest' play comes down both flanks, while the same can be said of 72% of the visitors'.

Add in the physicality of both sides and all of a sudden, a wealth of set-pieces seems an inevitability at the City Ground.
