The Santiago Bernabeu is set to host a repeat of last season's Champions League final on Tuesday as holders Real Madrid welcome Borussia Dortmund to the Spanish capital.

Selection #1 - Real Madrid to win (4/9)

Los Blancos have bounced back from a stunning 1-0 loss to Lille at the start of this month with back-to-back victories in La Liga.

A 2-1 win away at Celta Vigo saw them maintain pressure on bitter rivals and league leaders Barcelona, whom they trail by three points.

And while Borussia Dortmund also head to the Bernabeu in solid form, Madrid's pedigree in this competition cannot be understated.

The Lille defeat was their first in the Champions League since their 4-0 hammering at Manchester City back in May 2023.

Their recent record against Dortmund is also convincing - the Spanish giants are unbeaten in the side's last five meetings, with the most recent three all ending in a Madrid victory.

Selection #2 - Both teams to score (8/15)

While the Spaniards have taken the better of the spoils against their German counterparts, Dortmund have still been able to land the occasional glove on the 15-time Champions League winners.

In fact, Madrid's 2-0 win over 'BVB' in last season's final was the first time both sides failed to score in five meetings.

Dortmund came mightily close that night, too.

The Germans recorded eight shots to Madrid's two in the opening 45 minutes at Wembley, including a Niclas Fullkrug strike which rattled Thibaut Courtois' post in the 23rd minute.

Selection #3 - Vinicius Jr to score anytime (7/5)

Of course, Madrid's quality eventually shone through and carried them to a record 15th Champions League triumph in the English capital.

And it was a strike by Brazilian wonder Vinicius Jr who sealed the spoils after he netted with seven minutes of normal time remaining.

The 24-year-old remains odds-on favourite to win the Ballon D'or (4/9) and has continued his positive form into the campaign.

Vinicius netted Madrid's winner in their win at the Estadio de Balaídos on Saturday - a goal which leaves him with five goals and seven assists to his name already this term.

Selection #4 - Over 1.5+ Real Madrid cards (8/11)

A theme of the holders' recent home form has been the frequency of which they receive yellow cards.

Madrid have averaged 2.8 cards in their last five encounters at the Bernabeu, and 2.6 in their last five matches in the Champions League.

In fact, three of their last five home fixtures have seen Carlo Ancelotti's side receive four yellows in total.
