The result means Xabi Alonso's side have remarkably maintained their unbeaten record across all competitions, a run which has already seen them capture their first ever Bundesliga crown. Not only do they boast the best away record in the Bundesliga, but Leverkusen have also scored the second-highest amount of goals in the division with 82.

An expansive approach often leads to greater vulnerability at the back, yet Alonso's men have also conceded the fewest in the Bundesliga, with just 23 shipped.

Prediction

Bochum's matches have seen plenty of goalscoring action as of late. Combined with their recent poor defensive record and Leverkusen's attacking output, more goals surely lie in wait in this one as the Bundesliga approaches its climax.
