Monday's Premier League offering sees a buoyant West Ham side play host to a stuttering Newcastle.
Odds Now's Brad Walker (@brad_TWalker) has cast his eye over the fixture and picked out two betting tips ahead of kick-off.
Graham Potter's tenure as West Ham boss got off to a difficult start, but things have certainly picked up in recent weeks. The former Chelsea manager picked up just one win in his first six games in the Hammers dugout, yet has now recorded consecutive victories in his last two outings.
A 1-0 win at title-chasing Arsenal was followed by a 2-0 home ousting of Leicester five days later, securing West Ham's first clean sheets since Boxing Day.
Visitors Newcastle haven't been quite as convincing recently. Eddie Howe's men have three defeats in their last five matches, including a disappointing 2-1 home loss to Brighton last weekend, which saw them bow out of the FA Cup.
The Magpies have also lost their last two away outings. A 4-0 loss at champions Manchester City in February was followed by a 2-0 defeat to leaders Liverpool at the end of the month. They also come into this game with one eye on their Carabao Cup final showdown with the Merseyside club, which is slated for Sunday afternoon.
The momentum undoubtedly lies with the hosts given they've won both of their last two matches without conceding a single goal.
Compare with Newcastle, who have stumbled through recent weeks, not helped by absences of key players. One plus for the away side is the return of striker Aleksandar Isak, who has been declared fit after sitting out the Brighton match last weekend.
Still, Newcastle head to the capital with one eye on the cup final this forthcoming weekend. Having already lost Anthony Gordon and Lewis Hall, Howe may be hesitant to risk the big names ahead of their bid to win a first major trophy since 1955.
All in all, recent weeks suggest backing the West Ham win is the sensible pick, particularly given its priced as wide as 9/4 in some places.
England forward Bowen wasn't on target in West Ham's 2-0 win at Newcastle back in November, but he has scored in two of his last four league matches.
He also comes up against an injury-hit Newcastle defence missing key figures in Sven Botman and the aforementioned Hall.
Add in the fact the Magpies have registered just a single clean sheet in their last nine in all competitions and all of a sudden the 11/4 price on Bowen scoring anytime looks incredibly appealing.
