English giants Arsenal and Manchester United lock horns in the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon, but will the visiting holders still be in the pot for the fourth round?

Odds Now's Brad Walker (@brad_TWalker) has taken a closer look at the fixture to find the best value from a punting perspective.

Odds Now's Arsenal vs Manchester United selection

A disappointing 2-0 defeat to Newcastle continued Arsenal's slightly underwhelming season on Tuesday.

The game typified the Gunners' campaign so far, where they've often been hampered by a lack of clinical edge in the final third.

Similar patterns were present for recent draws with Fulham, Everton and Brighton, which have left them six points adrift of Premier League leaders Liverpool.

Pressure is mounting on manager Mikel Arteta to deliver silverware this season, with Arsenal having not won a major trophy since coming out on top in this competition during his first season with the club.

They welcome a Manchester United side this weekend who were boosted by a much-improved performance in their 2-2 draw at Liverpool last weekend.

The game was arguably United's best since Ruben Amorim's appointment, but questions remain over their ability to sustain those levels across a longer period.

Arsenal's strong home record against Manchester United

The visitors' recent form at the Emirates Stadium hardly makes for a positive read.

United have lost their last four away matches against the Gunners on the spin, with the most recent being a 3-1 win in the fourth-round of this competition back in 2019.

In fact, the pair most recently met in north London last month, with Arsenal coming out on top with a 2-0 victory.

Amorim's men limited their hosts to few chances in the first half but were undone by two set-pieces in the second, while also struggling to create anything themselves.

United were limited to a measly 0.26 xG across the encounter - a theme which should present itself again this weekend.

Arsenal boast the best defensive record in the Premier League and, while the absence of talisman Bukayo Saka will be a big miss, I do expect them to still have too much for their old rivals in attacking quarters.

The Gunners are far from the rip-roaring offensive side we witnessed last season though, so I'm anticipating a tight affair with the hosts ultimately securing a spot in the fourth round.
