Tottenham vs Fulham Betting Tips | Premier League | Match Preview

This Saturday sees a late 8 pm GMT kick-off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Spurs host Fulham in another London derby. After a bruising afternoon at the Emirates, Tottenham will be desperate for a response, and this fixture may offer them the perfect opportunity.

Odds Now football tipster Terry Foord previews the action and highlights the best betting tips ahead of this highly anticipated clash in the Premier League this weekend. Can he continue his streak after correctly tipping Arsenal to win and both teams to score in the London derby last Sunday?

Key Stats & Analysis

Tottenham were thoroughly outplayed in their 4-1 defeat to Arsenal last weekend and will need to improve sharply here. In truth, the scoreline flattered them.

Spurs generated just 0.07 xG, managed only two shots on target, and never looked like troubling Arsenal’s defence. That defeat was their first loss away from home this season, and dropped them down to 9th in the table.

Thomas Frank’s side now return home, where results haven’t been much better. Tottenham have just one win in their last five Premier League matches and only one home win all season, a 3-0 victory over likely relegation candidates Burnley.

While Spurs have faced some strong opposition at home, a defeat to Bournemouth and a disappointing 1-1 draw against Wolves highlight ongoing inconsistencies.

Fulham arrive in North London after a solid 1-0 win over Sunderland at Craven Cottage. That result lifted Marco Silva’s side to 15th and gave them some breathing room from the relegation battle. It was Fulham’s fourth home win from six, and they’ve only lost once at home this season — against Arsenal.

Away from home, however, Fulham have been one of the league’s weakest sides. They’ve collected just one point from six away matches, leaving them 19th in the away form table despite sitting fifth in the home rankings.

Marco Silva's men have now lost their last five away games, scored just four goals and conceded 13. Their underlying numbers are equally concerning, with an away xG of under 1.0 and an xGA of 2.17, suggesting they regularly allow high-quality chances.

The Cottagers have conceded 10 more goals away from home than at Craven Cottage, and with a clear lack of creativity on the road, that imbalance continues to be a major issue.

Head-to-Head

Fulham have enjoyed success in recent meetings at Craven Cottage, winning 2-0 and 3-0 in their last two home fixtures against Spurs. However, results in North London tell a different story.

Tottenham are unbeaten at home to Fulham in six matches, winning four and drawing two. The most recent meeting at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ended in a 1-1 draw.

Tottenham vs Fulham betting angles

I expect to see a response from Tottenham after the humiliation against Arsenal. Fulham’s dreadful away form makes this an ideal fixture for Spurs to bounce back, particularly against a side yet to win on the road.

Given Fulham’s 2.17 average goals conceded away from home, Tottenham should be well placed to score at least twice. Spurs average nine shots per game at home, with around three on target, while Fulham allow an average of 5.33 shots on target per away match, which strengthens the case for Tottenham attacking markets.

Discipline is also worth noting. Tottenham have averaged 2.67 yellow cards per match this season, while Fulham sit close behind with 2.33, making Spurs' card-related angles appealing.
