Leeds manager Daniel Farke has remained the 5/4 favourite with bookmakers to be the next Premier League manager to leave their post.
The German boss has endured a tough time back in the English top flight with the Whites, but a shock 3-1 win at home to Chelsea in the league in midweek has lifted the club up to 17th and out of the relegation zone.
It had been rumoured that the Leeds board were on the brink of sacking Farke after the team suffered a run of four consecutive league defeats. It was a poor spell of results that had left the club floundering in the bottom three.
Only a couple of weeks ago, our very own Odds Now football punters panel were tipping Leeds as a great value pick to go down at a price of 7/4. Now, after Wednesday night's stunning demolition of Chelsea, Farke's men are listed at 9/4 to be relegated this season.
Still, one result doesn't appear to have altered the views of bookmakers up and down the country, with Farke still holding onto top spot in the market for the next Premier League manager to leave their post.
The current price attached to Farke isn't a bombshell given he has twice failed to deliver survival on his previous spells in the Premier League. On both occasions, it was with Norwich.
In fact, on 18th September, 2021, Farke broke the record for the most consecutive defeats endured by a club or manager in the English top flight with 15 losses.
Farke isn't the only manager in the Premier League that is undoubtedly looking over their shoulder over this upcoming Christmas period. Several other gaffers are being considered at risk of being sacked by the bookies.
Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank did seem like an inspired appointment at the start of the league season, as the former Brentford man led Spurs into a top four position in the league and undefeated in the UEFA Champions League.
However, the Dane has now seen his team go 5 league games without a win, exit the Carabao Cup in underwhelming fashion, and lose their unbeaten record in the Champions League. Tottenham now find themselves in 11th place and the recent 4-1 defeat to Arsenal in the North London derby did not help Frank's relationship with the fans.
Other leading candidates in the next Premier League manager to leave their post market are Liverpool manager Arne Slot at 5/1, Burnley gaffer Scott Parker shortened to 5/1, and Fulham boss Marco Silva at 12/1.
