Brentford head coach Keith Andrews is the current favourite with bookmakers to be the first Premier League manager of the 2025-26 season to leave their post.
The recently appointed Bees gaffer is already facing an uphill battle in his new role after succeeding former manager Thomas Frank in the hot seat. The Irishman is 4/1 with leading UK bookmakers to be the first Premier League manager to leave their position.
It has been a difficult transition period for Andrews to come into the job. The club has seen some big-name departures over the summer, with Bryan Mbeumo, Mark Flekken and Christian Nørgaard all leaving for pastures new.
Andrews has moved to bring in some fresh faces, though. Right back Michael Kayode from Fiorentina, goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher from Liverpool, Antoni Milambo from Feyenoord and ex-Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson from Ajax have boosted the ranks.
Question marks remain over Andrews' experience at this level of management..
The former Wolves and Blackburn midfielder has previously been involved in the coaching set-ups at MK Dons, the Republic of Ireland and Sheffield United.
However, this is his first managerial assignment, having been promoted from his role as set-piece coach at Brentford to fill the shoes of the departing Frank during the off-season.
The market for the first Premier League manager to leave their post is heavily weighted towards the managers of the promoted sides.
Burnley manager Scott Parker is priced as the 6/1 second favourite to be the first manager sacked in the Premier League this season. Parker has already suffered relegation from the top division with both Fulham and Bournemouth. The Clarets are also expected to struggle this season.
Other leading candidates to lose their jobs first in the top flight of English football this season include Leeds boss Daniel Farke at 6/1, Nottingham Forest gaffer Nuno Espirito Santo at 6/1, West Ham manager Graham Potter at 6/1, and the head coach at relegation dark horses Wolves, Vitor Pereira, at 8/1.
